Ripples of Hope - Black Tie Fundraising Gala

A single drop of water creates a ripple that travels far beyond where it first began. In the same way, every act of generosity has the power to reach lives, restore dignity, and transform entire communities.

This year, Stream of Hope proudly presents “Ripples of Hope” — a theme that reflects the growing movement of compassion behind our mission to provide clean water and sanitation to rural communities in Ethiopia. What begins as one person choosing to care becomes a ripple of change that spreads from family to family, village to village, and generation to generation.

For millions of people in rural Ethiopia, the search for clean water remains a daily struggle. Young girls walk miles carrying heavy water jugs instead of attending school. Families rely on unsafe water sources that threaten their health and future. Yet through the unwavering support of our community, hope continues to flow.

Since 2010, Stream of Hope has completed dozens of clean water projects, bringing life-changing access to safe water to thousands of people. But the work is far from over. Countless villages are still waiting.

That is why this year’s theme also beautifully aligns with our newly launched Stream Sustaining Partner Program — a movement built on the belief that small, consistent acts of giving create powerful and lasting impact. Like ripples on water, monthly support from compassionate individuals grows outward, creating steady momentum that allows Stream of Hope to plan ahead, respond faster, and reach more communities in need.
